This is my journey from unhealthy to fit . Obviously I wanna drop some lbs, but I just wanna fit back into my old pants & feel like I Iook good in the mirror and if that's 130, 125, 120, 115 I don't really care. I just wanna be healthy & not chubby.

I’ve ate relatively healthy, I haven’t had dinner yet though.

I didn’t do yoga.

  • 30 seconds of High Knees

  • 30 side lunges (each leg)
  • 5 calf raises with (2, 5lb weights)
  • 40 lunges
  • 10 one legged calf raises (each leg, with one 5lb weight)
  • 25 inner thigh raises
  • 10 jump squats
  • 20 push ups
  • 40 Russian twists
  • 10 sit ups
  • 30 vertical leg crunches
  • 30 second superman
  • 10 triceps dips
  • 50 bicycle crunches
  • 2:30 second standing hamstring stretch
  • 3:00 pike stretch
  • 45 second calf stretch (each leg)

Progress.

Having a work out buddy, is seriously the only way weightloss can work for me.

Clearly as you can see from my irregular postings when I try to work out consecutively on my own I do it one day a week.

BUT! Kennikens & Me decided to work out together so this week we agreed on Monday-Thursday together, Friday on our own (and we’d hold each other accountable).

Monday & Wednesday we did 30 minutes of Zumba, Tuesday we did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown.

Thursday I did valentines with my boyfriend (so I’m doing a make up on Saturday) & She did some pinterest work out videos.

I’ve never actually worked out 5 days a week in my whole entire life until now. Granted were starting out small 30 minutes for the first 7 days. Then we’re gonna try bumping it up to an hourish. 

Work out buddies are legit yo.

Today I walked 1.5 miles.

It’s about .75 miles from here to the QT across the street from our campus so I walked there and back.

I finally face reality

in that i have a 5k in literally a month so today I ran…. well what I do is a walk jog.
But:
miles: 3.1
time: 50 minutes
of those 50 minutes, time I ran: 19 minutes.
average mph: 3.7 mph
calories: 359.8 

So it sucks I know, but I’m looking at the positives. I can legitimately complete a 5k. & It’s a start.  

Now off to a healthy, refueling lunch.
